Places a crossover. Two turnouts and a joining straight section are placed to connect tracks.

• Different turnouts can be selected for the first and second turnout.
• Works with parallel and non-parallel geometries.
• If the calculated angle for the turnout is not the same as the one defined for the turnout a kink may occur. The tool will not place arbitrary turnouts.

Workflow

From the Display rail placement tools, select Crossover to start the place a crossover tool.

1. Select template. Select leading turnout or trailing turnout.
2. Datapoint to select first track.
3. Datapoint to select second track.
4. Datapoint to select crossover location.
5. Select crossover direction. Datapoint to accept.
